Sara grew up in the Melbourne area. She graduated from Melbourne High School in 2003. While in high school she was very active in sports, swimming and soccer. After high school, she attended University of South Florida for 2 years pursuing her Bachelors degree in General Business. Finding that to be uninteresting, she began looking into other careers. She decided upon Physical Therapy after recalling multiple sports injuries in high school with several rounds of physical therapy. In 2008, Sara received her Associate in Arts from Brevard Community College . In 2009, she graduated from Indian River State College with her Associate in Science Physical Therapist Assistant. Sara has also completed a certification from the International Childbirth Education Association as a Prenatal Fitness Educator, specializing in prenatal and postpartum exercise design. Her hobbies include competing in sprint and Olympic triathlons.
